vcenter mob ui shows incorrect CBT status

hello!

i have vcenter 5.5 and esxi 5.5. i had enabled the CBT using the KB article vmware has and have power cycled the VM.  the VM even has ctk disks when i checked the datastore.

but when i go and look at the mob server via UI https://<vencer>/mob the value shows false.

as  a result of this i see that the backup application is ignoring CBT.

request some guidance on solving this?
